This job listing will be used to create a pool of qualified candidates to fill vacancies (permanent, temporary, full-time, part-time and less than half-time) for the 2018-19 school year.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of positive behavior intervention strategies
- Ability to effectively manage and supervise students and their work
- Knowledge of State Common Core Standards desired
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Science endorsement required or be highly qualified to teach High School Science
- Assignment may include teaching a combination of Chemistry, Biology and/or Physical Science
- ESOL/Bilingual endorsement required
- Fluent (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) English/Spanish skills required
- Previous experience working with the Dual Language Program desired
- Multiple endorsements in other core content areas desired
- In some cases, the assignment may include teaching other subjects/core content areas
- Locations, hours and FTE to be determined
- Salary is based on 2017-18 salary schedule and may be subject to change
