This job listing will be used to create a pool of qualified candidates to fill vacancies (permanent, temporary, full-time, part-time and less than half-time) for the 2018-19 school year.
- Knowledge of positive behavior intervention strategies
- Ability to effectively manage and supervise students and their work
- Knowledge of State Common Core Standards desired
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior experience working with middle school aged students preferred
- Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) training desired
- Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) training and/or experience desired
- Knowledge of the Cornell Note-taking system preferred
- ESOL endorsement may be required for some positions
- Multiple endorsements in other core content areas desired
- In some cases, the assignment may include teaching other subjects/core content areas
- Locations, hours and FTE to be determined
- Salary is based on 2016-17 salary schedule and may be subject to change
